Red Sofas

Fact: There is nothing more inviting than big, squashy, red sofas! And with the 1st of September heralding the arrival of Autumn, we are thinking seriously about our hibernation plans for the coming months.

Don’t get us wrong, we are still seriously loving the summery sunshine but we just can’t help but get a little tingle of excitement at the idea of coming home, lighting a fire and cuddling up on our red sofa.

Crunchy leaves under feet can inspire many aspects of your home but we’re sure you will understand that we will be focusing on our favourite item in the home, the red sofa…

Red comes in so many wonderful shades and we think there is a time and a place for each of them. We are starting with our super squashy Aldeburgh sofa in Colonsay Spice. This one reminds us of that lovely transition from green to red to brown and makes us feel cosy just looking at it. Pair with linen cushions in a complimentary red stripe for true interior style.

Strong red sofas are quite a statement but we think our Haresfield can handle it! This simple, square armed take on the classic Chesterfiled sofa is a bit of a chameleon and will sit happily in contemporary homes or in a more traditional environment. We think the red lends itself best to being matched with wooden floors and perhaps a statement wallpaper if you’re feeling brave!

Hello hibernation station! This is where you will find us when the weather really turns ugly. Once we have made ourselves at home on our Hambledon red sofa you will only see us again when the mercury hits at least 18 degrees and the sun is shining! In other words, see you next Spring! This is the perfect sofa to feed a fabric obsession. Choose a different fabric for every cushion if you like or just one all over for anyone that’s a fan of simplicity.

Classic styling, courtesy of the Kentwell red sofa is just crying out for a contemporary update with a fun burst of colours on the seats and scatter cushions. Aztec prints dropped off the radar a bit during the summer months but are back for the winter due to their earthy tomes and warm, inviting look. These ones are from Warwick and come in lots of different colour ways.
